LED Tail Lamp Retrofit - 3 Series & X5
Circle BMW is pleased to offer the tasteful and modern LED tail lamp retrofit for X5 (E70) and 3
Series (E92/93) vehicles produced up to the Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) introduction.
One of the most recognizable visual enhancements to the LCI X5 and 3 Series, were the upgraded LED
tail lamps. These tail lamps are now available to update the look of those pre-LCI cars.
This upgrade does not utilize a retrofit kit, but rather the standard LCI service parts, in conjunction with
necessary retrofit coding and an adapter harness (3 Series only).
This retrofit includes the M3 and X5M models.
NOTE: Similar aftermarket solutions may not function properly as the vehicles would not be coded to be
compatible with the lower power requirement of LED’s. This could lead to “Bulb Check” warning lights,
and flickering of the tail lamps on startup.

* For E92/E93 3 Series vehicles produced from 3/2007 – 9/2009, the Footwell Module must be replaced
for proper functionality. If the FRM has previously been replaced with an FRM3, it does not need to be
